This drum set exceeded my expectations in every way. It came complete with cymbals, drum sticks, all stands/hardware, and a drum stool. Was pretty easy to put together with the supplied web site and video (took approx. 1 hour from start to finish). It has a sharp look to it, and has a good sound - it's definitely loud! My neighbors are going to love me. It appears to be very sturdy. Really can't think of any negatives, and I'd highly recommend it to anybody looking for a beginner/starter set.

To start out, don't listen to these snobs, this drum set sounds great, and the contents and price make it a great bargain. This set does come with everything you need to start playing. It even includes a tool/key to tighten the tension rods (I didn't realize it was there until I was all finished). The snare comes put together, and the snares are made of steel. All and all if you tune the drums right, it will sound great. This is a full size drum set, but it come disassembled and enclosed in two medium sized boxes, so don't freak out when you receive the boxes, thinking you mistaken it for a junior size.
Now for the people snubbing this product, keep in mind that your getting a standard drum set, not just 5 drums. And if you dont like the sound of the drums, then re-tune it. If you don't like the sounds of the cymbals, then go a buy the cymbals you desire. To me the cymbals sound great, and overall the set is great.
The only bad thing about this set is the stool, its not that well made, in fact it bent on me after about 10 minutes of playing. Myself I just took chair out of the kitchen, and it work well for me.
So in conclusion, for the price it is well worth it. And the $60 shipping, That is so you can receive the drum set within 3 to 7 days. I ordered mine on Wednesday night, and it came at 12pm Tuesday.

My brother and I purchased these drums with some of our working money and are very plesed with them. Thay are great fot the beginning drummer, and if you want to play the drums now, I really recommend these. I hope this helps you decide!!!
